The EPC-89S controller is designed to control the water pump in a central heating system or the pump of a hot water tank. It can also be used as a safety thermostat. The controller will turn the pump on or off based on the temperature set by the user, optimizing heating efficiency and system lifespan through precise temperature differential management.
Automatically controls the connected water pump (either C.H. or H.W.) based on user-defined temperature setpoints to optimize system efficiency.

Troubleshooting (Alarms)
E1: Short circuit in the temperature sensor.
E2: Broken temperature sensor.
Note: For indoor use only. Keep in a dry environment.
A: The EPC-89S optimizes heating efficiency by using precise temperature differential management to control your water pump (either C.H. or H.W.). The controller automatically activates or deactivates the pump based on your custom-defined temperature setpoint, preventing unnecessary energy waste and reducing fuel consumption.
A: The controller features comprehensive automatic protections to safeguard your system, including:
Anti-Stop Function: Automatically runs the pump for 15 seconds every 14 days during the non-heating season to prevent motor sticking and limescale buildup.
Frost Protection: Activates the pump to circulate water once the sensor temperature drops below 5°C to prevent pipe freezing.
Overheating Safety: Instantly triggers an acoustic sound alarm if the boiler temperature exceeds 90°C.
A: No. The EPC-89S is a single-loop controller designed to control either a Central Heating (C.H.) pump or a Hot Water (H.W.) pump individually. If you need to manage both heating and hot water pumps simultaneously with priority control, we recommend our dual-pump controller model, EPC-89D.
A: These codes indicate specific sensor faults for quick diagnostic troubleshooting:
E1: Short circuit in the temperature sensor.
E2: Broken or open circuit in the temperature sensor.
A: Absolutely. The EPC-89S is manufactured under strict ISO9001:2015 and ISO14001:2015 certified quality systems. The product carries CE, EAC, EMC, and RoHS compliance, ensuring complete safety and reliability for installers and homeowners.
