EPC-89S Single Pump Controller for Heating or Domestic Hot Water

The EPC-89S controller is designed to control the water pump in a central heating system or the pump of a hot water tank. It can also be used as a safety thermostat. The controller will turn the pump on or off based on the temperature set by the user, optimizing heating efficiency and system lifespan through precise temperature differential management.

Intelligent Pump Management:

Automatically controls the connected water pump (either C.H. or H.W.) based on user-defined temperature setpoints to optimize system efficiency.

 

Smart Operating Modes

  • Manual Override: Provides direct manual control to turn the connected pump on or off for system testing or continuous operation (by pressing ⬛ and ⬇️ buttons together).
  • Anti-stop Protection: Automatically cycles the pump for 15 seconds every 14 days to prevent motor sticking and limescale buildup during the non-heating season.
  • Frost Protection: Automatically activates the pump to circulate water and protect the system if the sensor temperature drops below 5°C.
  • Overheat & Alert System: Integrated sound alarm which signals too high temperature on the boiler (above 90°C) and sensor diagnostic faults (E1: short circuit; E2: broken sensor).
