In the past, each heat pump operated with its own standalone controller, while room thermostats, responsible for regulating valves or fans within homes, often came from different manufacturers. This setup led to inefficiencies: when the room temperature reached a desired level, the slave room thermostat could only close the valve, lacking the ability to signal the heat pump to cease heating simultaneously. This resulted in unnecessary energy consumption. E-top's Thermacon heat pump controller offers a solution to this problem. Thermacon communicates with both the heat pump and room thermostat via Modbus protocol. With all devices seamlessly integrated into a single app, convenience and energy savings are maximized.
