The  Modbus thermostats allow, depending on the model, the control of a two-pipe or four-pipe system. This means that it can be used to operate also underfloor heating systems, heat pumps, HVAC systems, etc.

The standard functionality of both is that they have the ability to control the fan speed – usually 3 levels (low, medium or fast) and that they can be turned completely on (on) or off (off). In cooperation with motion sensor or a energy-saving switch, the thermostats can automatically switch to the Eco mode which has to be determined by user needs.
